Destroy Electronica, the 3rd opus from New Zealand’s Sora Shima, combines both the transcendence and ferocity of previous outtings into one dynamic and cohesive whole. Despite wearing their influences proudly on their sleeves - here is a band that, through sheer determination and attention to detail, are beginning to emerge as an undeniably powerful force in their own right. Creeping in just shy of 2009, Destroy Electronica is a remarkably mature release for such a promising young group.
